Mock ups / Die cuts

Of great interest to me is how the simple fold of paper can be used to create something that little bit more interesting in a card design. Whilst these designs are pretty old works from the heady days of art college I still like to expand upon the ideas and concepts that are possible.

Different styling

I'd love to be a whizz on Photoshop and really hope I get to grips with it and learn new skills some day.. But for know I have some very helpful friends willing to help me out with flat colour backgrounds and formatting. Hats of to you rotter and Meester Peters. Your help is very much appreciated - Lunch at the caff?

It feels like Christmas.... and here is a selection of recent decents.

Starting out

Well, here I am ..

I'm an artist currently living and working in London who graduated with a BA hons in Illustration in 1999. I’ve since worked as an agent within a London Illustration agency, within the new media industry and more recently within the print and poster industry.
However, things have now come full circle and I’m now back in a studio creating and developing my greeting card, stationery and wrap styles along with my editorial and book work.

I'm hoping that this bloggin malarky will make me more regular a contributor and sharer of ideas and new work.. While facebook floats my boat but Fasthosts causes me endless problems here will hopefully be a little retreat where new ideas and inspiration is kept.
